Watch for new acoustic music from Lee DeWyze pre-album.

Lee DeWyze has been in the studio recording a new album that is set to release in the fall. Prior to the album Lee announced he will be releasing three acoustic songs that he recorded in the studio last week. 

Take a listen to a clip from Idol hangover with Lee singing “Open Your Eyes” which is one of the three songs Lee has recorded acoustically.

The Hollywood Reporter has launched a live talk web series on UStream Tv called “ldol Hangover.” Hosted by THR music editor Shirley Halperin and THR editor Joseph Kapsch the web series can be seen live HERE each Friday at 11 am and will feature various past idol alumni and idol experts.

The featured “Idol Hangover” guest for the March 30th show will be Lee DeWyze! Lee will appear for a chat with the host and he is also scheduled to perform a song! If you have to work and miss the live show, don’t fret as the recorded show will remain on the THR UStream channel.

Note: I went back and watched the 4 webisode’s posted on the THR UStream Channel and this is a great show so check it out!! The hosts break down the current weeks American Idol show which I really enjoyed.
