Former Season 9 American Idol Champ Lee DeWyze and Season 10 finalist Casey Abrams will join the Monday Musical Club lineup on December 21st at the historic Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown Ohio. 

Founded in 1896 the Monday Musical Club is a nonprofit which supports the local enrichment of the arts.

It was the concert of concerts. Fans came from near and far. Those attending the April 19th show at Viper Alley listed fans from Indonesia, Canada, Wisconsin, New York,Montana,Texas, Florida,Ohio, Missouri, Tennessee, Pennsylvania and I’m sure I missed a state or a country somewhere in there. But the point is that they traveled for many miles to the windy city of Chicago to watch Lee DeWyze perform his music on his home turf at Viper Alley.

Four years ago many of these people didn’t even know each other. Brought together by the love of DeWyze’s music they now call themselves friends and family. They stay at each others houses and they travel together. They are connected in real time by social media and they tweet real time show pictures and post video’s.

Knowing all of this it came as no surprise when one local Chicago fan, Annie (@DeWyzeFan6),told me she was going to purchase 300 glow sticks to hand out to concert goers as a surprise for Lee when he sang his new single, Silver Lining at the Viper Alley show FridaSurprised he was! Take a look at the following video’s where 300 glow sticks lite up the venue during Lee’s performance of Silver Lining!
