Lee DeWyze took to social media this morning to announce he will be back on the American Idol stage this Thursday to perform his new single, Silver Lining.

Via Twitter and FaceBook DeWyze told fans:

“I will be performing “Silver Lining” on American idol Thursday night 4/25! 

#Surprise :) “.

Released by Vanguard Records, Silver Lining will be DeWyze’s first single off his highy anticipated new record that is scheduled to release in the summer.

Lee DeWyze is headed back to his home turf of Chicago and this week he spoke with Kathleen Danes from the Daily Herald about his new music and returning home to play at the trendy Viper Alley in Lincolnshire.

The Onyx and Breezy Foundations April 13th “Saving Tail’s” fundraiser will be held in Beverly Hills with 100% of the proceeds going to helping animals in need. 

A foundation close to the hearts of Lee DeWyze and his wife Jonna, the couple are on the honorary host committee. Lee will also be lending his talents as part of the entertainment for the event.

VIP tickets to the “Saving Tails” benefit for $250 each and general admission tickets for $150 each are now available.
